The single version was recorded live from Hammersmith Odeon during the Run-away train Tour (see video section) , while the album version featured backing vocals by Kate Bush.

This was the first Go West single to be released in the CD format. This featured the A Day In Aarhus extended version remixed by Brian Malouf. Interestingly, this CD was used as the extra disc when Dancing On The Couch was released with a bonus disc in the US.

As well as the standard 7" sleeve there was also a poster fold-out sleeve

To promote sales of the album the song was given a radical remix and released as The Sequel.

Two 7" picture discs were released featuring a photo of either Peter Cox or Richard Drummie along with a gatefold sleeve to encourage collectors to buy the pair.

The 12" featured Don't Look Down (The Stratospheric Mix), SOS (The Perpendicular Mix), Innocence (The Desperation Mix) and Eye To Eye (The Horizontal Mix)

There is also a very rare 'Promo Only' dance version available on 12" which was released in 1987 by Chrysalis in the States. The song is given a fantastic make-over by Bruce Forest and the b-side also features a dub version. Well worth hunting down.

Go West's debut single stormed into the UK charts on it's initial release, eventually peaking at No. 5.

The 12" featured the Total Overhang Club Mix mixed by Julian Mendelsohn which gained the band a lot of airplay in American clubs.
